Hi, it's VR again ! Well the day after, Was it the Greatest Super Bowl Week/Party/Jerry World ? I don't think so, the weather killed the week leading up to the big game. The game itself was very sloppy, turnovers, injuries, drop passes, I don't believe Brett Favre name was mentioned more than twice. Whatever !
Selection Sunday is FIVE Weeks away ! Thats sad, I don't want it to end. I believe even the followers with POOR Money Mgmnt are making money. Were having a decent basketball season.
"Big Monday" tonight, first game at 7:00 pm est. Pittsburgh is traveling to Morgantown, WV to take on West Virginia. Pitt is without there leading scorer Aston Gibbs (17ppg), Casey Mitchell is back for WV.
Missouri @ Kansas, "M&I Bank Border SHOWDOWN" these two teams totally dislike each other. 11 points is the betting line. It should be good.

2.5.2011 Saturday CBB, "53-26 ats, 6-2 ml, 3-0 Week" Bulldogs @ Vikings
Hi, it's VR again. Good Saturday morning, this is alot of fun today with all the games.
With no-play yesterday (Friday) our underfeated month is still going.
Today were going to start our day with and early play in the Horizen League.
There's a new Viking atop the mountain !
Butler @ Cleveland State -3
These two teams played a few weeks ago, Butler gave Clev. ST a beat down. 79-56 !
Today Feb.5 is a totally different time for these two teams, Butler is coming into this game on a 3 game losing streak. Cleveland State is coming into this match-up on a 6 game winning streak, also at home CSU have won 16 straight, (3 last season ).
As for home court advantage, Cleveland State are wearing "New Black Uniforms", the crowd will be in a "Black-Out". But this is where near why Cleveland State wins today.
Cleveland State has to win today, Period ! The Vikings must win today ! Overall CSU are 21-3, 10-2 in-conference. This is the biggest game in the history of this program since 1986 when the Vikings were 29-4 and made it too the Sweet 16. By the way there honoring the "86" team at halftime.
In a conference call yesterday, Head Coach Gary Waters called this game "Pay-Back" !
Cleveland State's offense is called "3-G Offense", they run a 3 guard set. The leader Cole Norris who's scoring 20 a game, Trevon Harmon, Jeremy Montgomery are the other very good point guards. The Vikings defense is playing real good at this time also, Charlie Woods in the paint is blocking a boat load of shots, VS. Valpo this past week he had 5 blocks.
As for Butler, wow what difference from last season. There point guard Ronald Nored has 5 stitches in his hand and he's not 100%, if he even starts. There offense isn't playing well at all, there defense is just getting kicked around. I feel this is a great time for Cleveland St.
As I pointed out, Cleveland St has a lot of "Mo-Joe" coming into today. There home, the arena is "Sold-Out", the line is 3. Let's a nice "W" to start off this saturday.

2.4.2011 Friday CBB, "53-26 ats Overall, 6-2 ML Overall, 3-0 Week"
Hi, it's VR. Well College Of Charleston really showed there muscle last night in winning last night VS. Wofford. In my opinion it displayed Two very important items going forward in the "SoCon" conference.
- One, In my opinion CofC is light years ahead of every team in conference. I'm looking forward to College of Charles VS. Tenn,Chatt.
-Two, Wofford who is 8-3 in conference but there offense is limited to getting the basketball down low and scoring points. There's not one jump shooter on that team. When facing a team who can shoot, run, there in trouble. If Wofford makes the dance, one and done !
Well 3-0 for the week heading into Saturday. Thats very good because there's many games, and the winning streak actually takes a little pressure of.
2.4.2011 Friday - No Play For Today.
There's Nine lined games for today and I'm staying away from them. I'm going to use time to get ready for hopefully another great day on Saturday.
I actually really like Fairfield tonight minus 3 points @ home VS. Iona, I'm not going to play because I want to see if the"Stags" got there problems figured out. So I'm just going to watch.

2.3.2011 Thursday CBB, "52-26 ats" 2-0 Week ! Terriers @ Cougars
Hi guy's, It's VR again. As I noticed another thread was closed down by SBR. Sad how people act !
Hey the supporters that's 2-0 for the week, getting my record to 52-26 ats, 5-2 money line.
I'm at +117 unit's. I'll take that all day long !
Todays game is on ESPNU for those who get that channel. Wofford @ College of Charleston -2 ( I'm buying 1.5 points ). Tonight game is huge in the Southern Conference (SoCon), Wofford is actually in first place with a record of 9-2, 12-10 overall. CofC is right behind the Terriers at 8-2, 15-7 overall. Wofford has a very nice player in Noah Dahlman, he avg. around 20 a night. The Terriers play very smart basketball, there Turnover / Assists ratio is pretty good. 341 ast, 269 turnovers. There personal in my opinion is just I'd say below CofC personal. These two teams played on 1.8.2011 @ Wofford and College of Charleston won by FOUR points 77-73.
The College of Charleston is a good basketball team, there coming of an ugly lose this past saturday at Davidson. The Cougars were winning from the opening tip till around 6 minutes togo and then just played terrible and lost. I watched the entire game and I just don't understand what these kids were thinking.
The best part of CofC losing this past weekend is that coming of a lose this entire season the Cougers are 10-0 SU after a lose !
In my opinion CofC has the advantage tonight other than playing at home, there basketball players are a step above Woffords squad. Andrew Goudelock is a pure shooter, he can go off for 40 tonight. He's avg. 24 anight. Jeremy Simmons is a very good shooter, he can pull the trigger anywhere on the court and sink he's shots. I know these two teams very good, the eye ball test gives CofC a huge plus tonight.
The Cougars avg. 81 points at home, thats big time points. Wofford scores 69 on the road and gives up 71, so I'd say we have a nice advantage with the scoring. CofC is 5-0 @ home vs. in-conference.
One more note, I'm not real big on but I'll post it, Wofford is 0-5 last 5 trips to Charleston. Wofford won the conference last year and didn't beat the Cougars at there house !

2.1.2011 Wednesday CBB, "51-26 ats, 5-2 money line" Owls @ Explorers
Hi, it's VR again ! Nice win yesterday taking Wichita State, after a close 1st half the Shockers blew it open in the 2nd half to get us on the winning side. Today also were going with two mid-majors.
The A-10 conference is where were at, Temple @ LaSalle +9.5.
Were taking the underdog tonite, the LaSalle Explorers who are getting 9.5 points at home. In my opinion this game is a mirror of teams. Temple who's sporting a better record at this time but LaSalle is playing great defense right now and there on a Three game winning streak. LaSalle which started conference play with three straight loses, are back in the picture with those three straight victories. Confidence is always a big factor in a rivalry game, LaSalle is feeling awfully good right now. The Explorers have played an A-10 best, 11 games decided by FIVE points or less. In my opinion there defense keeps them in every contest, 39% is what teams are shooting vs. LaSalle.
LaSalle's Aaric Murray who's a 1st round draft pick in this years NBA draft, avg. almost a douple-douple every time he steps on the hardwood.
Juan Fernandez who's Temple's playmaker is Questionable tonight. He wasn't in the line-up this past saturday.
I do believe with LaSalle's scorers and there top notch defense, the Explorers keep this game close and maybe get the "W". I'm 2-0 ats backing LaSalle in 2010-11

2.1.2011 Tuesday CBB, "51-26 ats Shockers @ Sycamores"
Hi, It's VR again ! Hope all's well with all of you. The weather I guess is just unreal all over the midwest heading to the northeast. Hopefully everyone is safe.
Guy's just a quick note before we get to the play. Once again today it was said in yesterdays thread that I'm turning tout. I'm mentioning it because 1500 people viewed the post ! I've noticed all over this web-site people asking for points when any type of play is posted, well I post my plays daily or almost daily and I've never once asked for a single point. Never ! As I said in the past, I want nothing from nobody, nor do I want your e-mail address. Because I will never become a tout !
Please, in this thread let's respect the play and all the persons in this thread. Very simple, SBR will not stand for it and close the thread. Thanx guy's !
Ok, after taking yesterday off because of in my opinion a very hard card, I'm looking forward to placing a wager today. But to be 100% truthful, todays card is crazy hard. But I do believe I have a winner. I'm placing a Money Line Wager.
Wichita State -160 @ Indiana State.
WSU is the class of the Missouri Valley Conference along with Missouri St., in my opinion Wichita State is the best team in the conference. Every time I handicap I CBB game, I write on paper a simple question "Why will this team win"? Very simple question. Answering it sometimes has me stumped, but not today. I feel very easy today why Wichita St wins. "Turnovers, lost possesions" Here's something that I believe you'll agree. Indiana St has 294 assists and 321 turnovers. In there last game the Syamores turned it over 20 times. Dwayne Lathan is Indiana St point guard, this kid has 61 turnovers by himself. It's not just one game either, it's all season Indiana St has been losing possesions. You can not do that VS good teams.
Wichita St is 18-4, 5-0 in conference on the road. Thats great ! The Shockers are shooting 54.7 % FG. WSU big in the middle Garrett Stutz, if you haven't seen this kid play, he is awsome in the paint and he can run up and down the court.
Indiana State is also on a 3 game losing streak coming into tonight and the Shockers are on a 3 game win streak. So let's see ! I believe tonight we get back on the winning ways, thats why were going with a money line play. We need to start our own winning streak.
