Hi, It's VR again. Hope alls good. There's just 5 lined games today and I'm not liking any of them.
Texas @ A&M looks very easy the way the Longhorns are playing, but the Aggies at home (12-0)
and coming of an terrible loss on saturday to Nebraska. I believe it's best just to watch it.
Louisville @ G'Town, these two teams are playing well also. Anything can happen, in my opinion there isn't any type of an edge for gambling purposes other than the Hoyas playing on there own court. But as we seen the Cardinals don't care where they play.
Northern Arizona in my opinion is your best chance of taking a home favorite. They play well at home, but Northern Colorado is 7-1 and in 1st place in the "Big Sky Conference".
It's best to take a pass tonight and get ready for tuesday night. I've got 26 loses, not to sound like a jerk but it's time to start destroying the BOOK. Thats what I'm going to do.
NO PLAY FOR MONDAY 1.31.2011

1.29.2011 Saturday CBB, "51 - 24 ats" Two Games
Hi, It's VR again ! Let's get right too it.
First play,
BYU -3, @ New Mexico
How much things change the past 12 months for the Lobos, last season New Mexico were the darlings of the MW Conference and the National outlook. For starters the Lobos are 2-4 in conference.
I Could be wrong as I have been 24 times this basketball season, but it's crazy to see all the Tout's, Pro's on New Mexico. The Lobos just don't have the talent to UPSET THE #1 TEAM IN THE RPI !
Bottom line there isn't talent to cover Jimmer Fredette, there just isn't. In my opinion the only nice piece New Mexico has is Drew Gooden in the paint, but that will not keep the lobos close today.
BYU being a very mature basketball team has the make-up to make a huge run towards the Final Four this season, being that there are only a handful of really good teams. BYU in there history has never had a team like they do this season. Record wiz yes, but personal no. Brandon Davis taking up space in the paint and Emery and of course Fredette. I feel BYU wins today by 8 to 10 points.
The "Pit" is a tuff home-court advantage, yes I agree ! For the likes of TCU, Air Force and and that type of team. But Today It Will Be The Stage For "The Jimmer"
BYU -3
51-23 ats
Good luck to all. Hope everyone has aa great day.

1.28.2011 Friday CBB, "51-23 ats Jaspers @ Stags"
Hi, It's VR again. It's Friday, which One more day till Saturday. There's some great games on tap for Saturday. But before we get to saturday we got one more night to pick up a "W".
It's been a good week so far. No plays to add to the record but a few leans that you guy's played hit, which is always good. So here we go,
Manhattan @ Fairfield -20
I've been following Fairfield for a very long time, I really like Head Coach Ed Cooley. He's one great HC that nobody knows. Fairfield plays in the MAAC Conference, "Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference", and let me tell you there's some GREAT players in this conference. The reason the MAAC gets great players is because the majority of the players aren't in SIZE big enough to play at Big schools in the Northeast. So they end up playing for these under the radar schools. I promise you, there's really good players on Fairfield and in the MAAC. Last year Siena won this conference, got into the Dance and made it to the Sweet 16. This year in 2011, Fairfield is last years Siena !
Sophmore Guard for Fairfield Derek Needham ( 5-11, 180 ), this kid "Gets Off" daily ! He has won MAAC Player Of The Week Twice this season. Senior Forward Yoral Hawkins is coming into tonights match-up coming TWO Double-Doubles.
Fairfield allowed 109 points in there LAST TWO wins, Remaining at NO.2 in the NATION in scoring defense. That's a great stat ! Number Two in the country, including in that are all the BCS schools. Don't sleep on Fairfield, there 15-4 overall, 8-1 conference.
Manhattan, beat Georgia in November. I promise you as a man, it don't mean anything. The past month or so, Georgia is not the same team as back then. Manhattan has THREE wins, there last two games they have scored a combined 103 points. This team is awful ! Really, Really bad. They can't score, remember Fairfields "D". Manhattan can't play defense. 60% of Manhattan's scoring comes from Fresh, Soph.
I believe the Final score tonight is 78-48 Fairfield
Fairfield -20
51-23 ats overall
3-1 Money line
Good luck guy's, this will be the only play for Friday.

1.27.2011 St. Marys @ Gonzaga
1.27.2011 Thursday CBB, A Brief write-up on St. Marys @ Gonzaga
St. Marys @ Gonzaga -3
You always hear of teams that no-matter what they do, They can't win in certain buildings. Well thats whats going on tonight when these two WCC teams meet.
St. Marys Geals are 1-22 SU last 23 @ Gonzaga in "The Kennel" (i hope i spelled it right). St. Marys have had some awful loses at Zaga. They just can't win there. Two years ago I believe it was SMC was up 12 with 3 minutes left and lost.
Gonzaga is 5-0 last 5 at home.
Gonzaga is 6-1 SU last 7 VS St Marys overall.
In my opinion St. Marys does not match-up with Zaga at all. SMC is very good hitting the 3, but if there shots don't fall, there's no-other way for them to beat Gonzaga. Zags half-court offense will win this game tonite by 8 points.

1.27.2011 Thursday CBB, "51-23 ats Showcase Thursday"
Hi, It's VR again ! Real quick I just want to mention how awful some of the weather is around the country.
Where I'm from NYC, I've been told that 15-20 inches were dumped on them. NYC is the greatest but they can keep it !
Out here let me tell you, I'm in heaven. It's the greatest !
Last night was pretty good, 2-0 ats, 51-23 ats overall. As we know anything can happen during any game, but it's so rewarding when the games play out exactly how it was handicapped.
On to Thursday, I'm sorry to say but Zero Play For Today.
No-Play For Thursday.
Sorry guy's but I just can not get a great feeling on any games, I've have leans for those interested. I broke down 5 games all day and they just don't cut-it. Sorry. Looking at Friday, I do believe we will have just One play.
Leans, but not plays,
Mississippi State +7, I believe maybe Dee Bost, R Sidney keep it close @ home.
Cleveland State -10, Defense, Cleveland St has a great defense. UIC is awful. The Flames have just 5 wins and Two are against Toledo(there the worst D1 school) and one win VS D2 school.
LaSalle -3, This was going to be my play today. The ONLY reason I'm not taking it is because the game is being played at the "Palestra". LaSalle is the home team tonight but there not playing on there home court. There's 5, D1 schools in Philly which they call them "The Big 5" and when they play each other, they play at the Palestra. I really like LaSalle getting it done tonight but like I said there not home. There opponent is St. Joesph who in which is having an awful season. 0-5 in conference, 2-9 on the road. LaSalle's record is 9-11 but they played a very hard non-conference schedule. We played them a few months back VS Baylor and for 35 minutes they took it to Baylor.
Good luck tonite, again No-Play.

1.26.2011 Wednesday CBB, Minnesota LINE
Guy's I don't play with no local or any garbage like that. Las Vegas Hilton is where every single wager I play have been made.
The line there right now is 3.5, I moved to Las Vegas because this isn't a hobby for me !

1.26.2011 Wednesday CBB, "50-23 ats Wildcats @ Golden Gophers"
Hi, It's VR again. Hope all's well. Tuff night all around last night, Georgia played there butt's off last night in regulation and the first overtime. When Florida tied the game at the end of the first OT, Georgia just was in shock as I was. At that point it was very to regroup and play at a high level again. It's sad to say but that was a huge game for Georgia, it's going to be very hard for the Bulldogs to reach some goals they set for themselves. Come Saturday there at Kentucky now. Tuff road.
On to today, we need to get going. My last ten wagers were 7-3 ats, so lets get going and get on the right side.
Big Ten for us today,
Northwstern @ Minnesota -3.5
My opinion on Northwestern is there a decent basketball team, they play very smart, there Assists to Turnover ratio is good. 335 assists / 201 Turnovers which like I said is good. They can put the ball in the basket, easily, from three there shooting very good. John Shurna will be 2nd team All-Big Ten this season.
Drew Crawford is a nice guard. There's high hope's this season to make the NCAA Tournament. Here's my take on Northwestern basketball, I know this team very well as I try my hardest to learn all 346 teams. As much time as I put into capping games, I respect all the teams, players and everything they do to play major college basketball. But my take on the Northwestern basketball program from the Head Coach down is the the Wildcats ARE VERY SOFT. That is why they will not make the dance. They play soft, there defense is awful, it's soft. Minnesota's bigs, will destroy Northwestern tonight. Wisconsin who plays real hard defense beat-up Northwestern this past saturday. They will never make the dance until they "Make-over" there entire program.
Minnesota in my opinion will get the win and cover tonite. Trevor Mbakwe 6-8 monster in the paint should have a good night, Ralph Sampson 6-11 and Colton Iverson 6-10 all these guy's wieght around 250. Thats huge playing against Northwestern. Blake Hoffarber is having a nice season and this kid can knock down the three. I know Al Nolan is out with a broken foot, but HC Tubby Smith recruits real good and Byrant Allen will step in and this kid is ready.
At the "Barn" Minnesota is 5-0 SU against Northwestern, the Wildcats are 1-5 ats as underdogs this season. I believe Minnesota wins pretty easy tonight, to get us on the right side.
Minnesota -3.5
50-23 ats
I had a 2nd game between St.Joesph @ LaSalle -3.5, but the game has been PPD because of snow in Phillly.
The San Diego State @ BYU game is at 7:00 pm PT,
please check at halftime of Northwestern/Minnesota for a play on SD ST / BYU

1.26.2011 Wednesday CBB, "50-23 ats" Changing things up for a few days !
Hi, It's VR again. Hi guy's. Just a quick note to all of you. I'm hoping that all of the followers from SBR either check my Blog or are followers on Twitter. For the next few days I feel it's best to post directly and only on "youronewaypasstocollegehoops.blogspot.com" and on "Twitter" ( I'mAWinner001).
Just to give SBR a break for a few days, I can't get involved with that hate garbage. As you guy's know handicapping is hard enough and it's best to have a nice clear head. I can't be invloved with that, I'm friends with a few Mods over there and there's 3000 viewers coming to my thread. There jobs are hard enough.
My plays will be posted at the same time, late afternoon. I believe it's best that you sign up at Twitter and follow "I'mAWinner001" because I post thru-out the day with up-dates and leans.
One more thing for you gentleman that follow I'm sorry about the Ohio State game which was a winner and a play of mine. But I guess some of you didn't get it, I didn't post it at SBR but I did mention something about it. I just couldn't post it there with all the hate that was going on. See you later !

1.26.2011 Wednesday CBB, "49-23 ats"
Well after a crazy night of hoop's, losing with Georgia two ways (ML, Spread). Winning with Ohio State pretty easy. The Buckeyes are a complete team, in my opninion the best team in the country. Every thing they do is done with matter. Very well coached team.
Today is a very up-setting day because of what happen last night in at SBR Forums, people acting so awful that I was in contact with Mods over at SBR asking them to close the thread. Thank you very much to Willie for closing the thread. It's just a shame how ugly people are.
My plays are givin for FREE and in this ugly world that means something. I'm thinking of having a Web-Site built from a very nice company out here in Vegas and charging $100 a week for my plays, at least if I get hammered for losing, I'm getting paid from those who wish to kill me.
My POSTED record is 49-23 ats, I would really like to see someone who is winning at 70% and giving the plays out for free. Today I'm in my office working on getting TWO winners, what to do with them, I don't know yet. I know I'll be at the Cage, putting these winners in at the Las Vegas Hilton.
For those who act like a gentleman, thanx !

1.25.2011 Tuesday CBB, "49-22 ats Gators @ Dwags"
Hi all, it's VR again ! Hope all's good. It's "Super Tuesday", and there's some great games tonight. Let's get right in it.
Florida @ Georgia -140, -2
Were playing this contest both ways, I feel real strong taking the most Dangerous team in the SEC East. Second year HC Mark Fox has the Georgia Bulldogs aimed toward their first trip to the NCAA Tourament since 2008. An well-balanced lineup features 5 starters who each have scored at least 20 points in one game this season. Georgia has a very good inside-outside game, Guard Travis Leslie is dynamic, scoring 15 ppg, and lightening fast. Gerald Robinson 14 ppg, who is deadly from the 3 point land. Trey Thompkins who will be First team All-SEC, scoring 17 a game. Trey is a man down in the low block and he can step out and hit the 12 footer all night long. Georgia's offense gives teams fits because of there ability to stretch opposing defenses because of there 3 point shooting, hitting better than 50% in there last 3 games and there game in the paint. Also coming off the bench is freshman forward Marcus Thornton. His last game VS Miss. St Marcus grabbed 9 boards.
Georgia's lone home loss come in November VS Colorado. In Saturdays home win VS Miss State Georgia hit 11 of 19 3's, thats pretty good.
I believe all of the mention will give the Gators fits, Florida in 2010-11 has been up and down. Each night there uncertainty is really hurting this team. There last road game in which they scored 45 points VS the worst BCS team in the nation Auburn.
Georgia is by far the most athletic team in the SEC, 14-4 SU, 9-1 at home.
Georgia 65 Florida 50
Georgia -2
Georgia -140 (ml)
Good luck to all tonight, I feel very strong about Georgia getting it done tonight. Real Strong !

1.22.2011 Saturday CBB, "48-22 ats, Horns @ Jayhawks"
Hi all, It's VR again ! Well after a day off from wager, today is just awsome for those of us who truely love CBB. There is some really great games today, a few of my favorite teams playing. But I promise I never, ever make a "Homer Wager".
Texas @ Kansas, thats where were starting off today.
I feel todays games between the Longhorns and Jayhawks should be an awsome battle. Both teams fg% is tops in the Nation. There's superstars on both teams, for KU you have the Morris twins. These two can ligght it up from any where on the court. Freshman Josh Selby is playing pretty good right now. Tyrel Reed who plays very smart basketball.
The same is said for Texas, Jordan Hamilton, this kid is avg. 20 agame. Gary Johnson is bull-dozer in the paint. Cory Joseph also plays real well.
The line for this game is 7, thats were the problem for me lies ! Going thru my systems, hours and hours of data, the eye test, everything I do.
I totally feel Kansas, who's a very good basketball team does not best Texas by 7 at home. I'm not saying Texas wins, but I honestly believe the team with ball last wins.
The team with basketball last hit's there shot will win !
Texas +7
48-22
Good luck to all, there will be a late play.

1.20.2011 Thursday CBB, "48-20 ats Goldenbears @ Bruins"
Hi, It's VR again ! This week is flying bye, already thursday. The great thing is we haven't lost since this past Saturday. Last night was pretty good, One ats win and two money line wins. 48-20 ats.
Ok on today, I have a First half play to start off the night. I believe I got information that CAN NOT be found on the web. I can't find it and believe me, I'm on every-single web site there is for CBB.
Auburn basketball team has been OUT-SCORED 61-14 in the First 10 minutes of it's last four conference match-ups. That is coming out the mouth of head coach Tony Barbee on a phone conference that I was listening to early this after noon.
Auburn is home tonite VS Florida. I went back and looked at the Gators 1st half play this season and believe me, this play will be worth our time !
Florida -7 ( 1st half )
My regular play tonight is California @ UCLA, Here's HC Mike Montgomery words last weekend when his team got beat up by Washington. "The team is young, inexperienced and not at all deep when it comes to the bench" There's not many weapons at all in my opinion. There starting five in my opinion are nothing but role players. Major problems rebounding on the Off/Def side of the court. California also has turned the ball over 252 times. Also the story all week, can California win on the road and my answer of course is NO ! Up to this point in conference they haven't.
Head Coach Ben Howland in practice all week has been working very hard on playing for 40 minutes. Closing out teams, it's been a huge problem for UCLA blowing 20 point leads. I believe tonight UCLA comes out and plays very hard for 40 minutes and pulls away covering the number easy. The Bruins defense has been keeping teams under 60 ppg, there offense also is very talented. T Honeycutt, R Nelson, M Lee, L Jones and the freshman in the paint J Smith all average in double digits.
Head Coach Ben Howland also has a pretty good record vs. California.
UCLA -6.5
48-20 ats
Good luck men !
Ok on today, I have a First half play to start off the night. I believe I got information that CAN NOT be found on the web. I can't find it and believe me, I'm on every-single web site there is for CBB.

1.19.2011 Wednesday CBB, "47-20 ats Bearcats @ Irish"
Hi, It's VR again ! After taking the night off on "Super Tuesday", I'm looking forward to tonight. At 47-20 ats, and 2 straight "W's", things are going ok right now. But in this business as you know, it's all about this evening, can we cash a thrid straight night. So here we go,
Cincinnati @ Notre Dame, I've been reading a bunch of tout write up's and a bunch of Just players and everyone loves Cincinnati tonight. With-all-do-respect, in my opinion "Wow" ! People just don't get it.
Please tell me who in the world has Cincinnati beat on the road ? Cincinnati went to Nova and Cuse and got smoked. This is the "Big East" and when teams are playing in front of there fans, Light's Out. Notre Dame is Lights out at home in conference.
Let me just say what I believe in and it has worked great over the years. I'll try to explain it as easy as possible. This team Notre Dame has been together for over a few years, they have been thru the fire. Cincinnati, this basically is there first year together because last years team some parts left for the NBA. You have THREE first year starters, and there bench is very new. Thats why they were picked by the coaches to finish 14th out of 16 teams in the Big East.
I'm not saying one bit that Cincinnati is not good because they are good. When it's all said and done Cincinnati will have a nice season, a couple of wins in the NIT.
Notre Dame also has major problems on the road, But this contest is on the campus of Notre Dame. Believe me, there fans LOVE the Irish ! The Irish last game on the road they hit just 3 of 20 three's ! I promise you that will not be the case tonight. The Irish are scoring over 85 at home compared to 65 by Cincinnati on the road.
This game tonight has the same make-up as Kansas / Baylor, Cincinnati just doesn't match-up well with Notre Dame. They will play ND game. The Bearcats have great athlete's, in my opinion I haven't seen one really good jump shooter. Sean Kilpatrick is very good in the paint but like Baylor's big's he CAN NOT step out and hit the 12 footer all night. Yancy Gates maybe play/maybe not, in my opinion he has nothing to do with the out-come. Notre Dame will be with-out Carlton Scott, that hurts but I believe they can win with-out him. Notre Dame is ranked 8th in the Nation in Assists/Turnover ratio (1.02)
ND 308 assists 207 turnovers, Notre Dame plays very, very smart, in my opinion Cincinnati does not watching them this season. ND had 20 To's at St. Johns, that will not happen tonight, also this is a fact, the past few days Head Coach Mike Brey kicked his teams butt's in practice preparing for tonights game, the players can't wait to get on the court.
I'm placing TWO wagers tonight with Notre Dame,
Notre Dame -3
Notre Dame -170 (ml)
I do feel very strong about this game, so we shall see.
I'm leaving my home at 5:00 pm pt, I'm going to "Thomas & Mack Center" to see Air Force vs. UNLV.
I also like a 2nd play but I'm not done with studies !
Good luck to all

1.17.2011 Monday CBB, "46-20 ats Big Monday"
Hi, It's VR again ! What a great MLK Jr. day, hoops all night. Nice lucky cover last night with Missouri State Bears, sometimes in this business as you know it's better to be lucky than good !
Tonight were going "Primetime", with "TWO Teams" that I know real, real well. I've seen both teams practice and I've seen both teams live, in non-conference games. So I'm I feel real good about both teams.
Kansas @ Baylor, the line is backing the Jayhawks -4.
I'll start with Baylor, this game tonight has the feel of a Regional Semi-final ! Can Baylor play basketball with Kansas shooters, skill and talent. Baylors front line is pretty good. #4 Q Acy it feels like he's been there forever. ACY is tuff on the wing, he has springs and can jump out of the gym, average's 13 ppg. He's shooting 51% from the field, the reason it looks high is because he's always down on the low-block gettin ready to pull the rim down. Don't get me wrong I like Acy, been watching him for years. But can he step tonight and hit the 10-15 footer to keep Baylor in the game. My answer-NO ! On the other wing is #41 A Jones, very quietly he scores 8 agame. Pulls down 5 boards agame, in my opinion he'll do zero tonight in affect of this game going either way. Then there's Perry Jones III, Baylors one and only Mcdonalds All-American in there history. If he comes out at the end of the season he's a top 5 draft pick ! But at this point in his career he's raw and can not hit the 15 footer to put Baylor ahead. Baylors back court I really like, #24 L Dunn, he's very good. His average is over 20 agame and can single handly keep Baylor in the game tonight, #22 A Walton in my opinion would not start if he played for Kansas, needs to cut down on turnovers.
As for Kansas, as you heard on TV there loaded ! They have a very nice squad, in my opinion there the best team in the country. The Jayhawks are a very good shooting basketball team, from the low block, 12-15 ft. they can hit there shoots and from 3 there shooting over 38%. Kansas also does not turn the ball over !
Baylor 202 assists 247 turnovers
Kansas 315 assists 242 turnovers
Huge stat right there, Baylor blows many of the possesion while Kansas does not ! With the eye test which is real big for me, Kansas is alot better basketball team. Baylor RPI ranking is 99, KU I believe it's 3.
Baylor is 0-4 against RPI top 100 this year.
Here's a stat that some of you will like "The road team in this series is 10-0 ATS"
Kansas -3.5
Good luck guy's, hope the best to all !

1.16.2011 Sunday CBB, "45-20 ats Bears @ Braves"
Hi, it's VR again. Sorry to all the followers on the forums, awful day yesterday 0-2 ats.
Today we turn this around and put us on the winning side, so here we go.
Missouri State -10 @ Bradley,
The Bradley Braves have struggled this season, especially at the offensive end. Their inability
to create has really hurt them at the mid-way way point of the season. Six game losing streak for the Braves coming into tonight's league battle. Their offense is averageing around 60 ppg, their defense is giving up around 65 ppg.
Missouri St who is 6-0 in conference play at this point. Ranked #44 in the RPI (Bradley #252), is red hot at this point of the season with 8 straight wins. Bradley plays a zone defense because they just don't have the players to play man-man "D". Of my 5 systems that basically point out all my plays, I'm seeing an 16 point advantage fot the Bears.
Bradleys biggest problem is Turn-overs in the tune of over 20 per game. Missouri St averages around 8 per game, in my opinion thats how we will get ahead and stay ahead in this contest.
Missouri St. 71-52 Bradley
Missouri State -10

1.14.2011 Friday CBB, "45-18 ats" Can't wait For Saturday !
Hi, it's VR again !
Well for the second straight day No-Play.
There's Five lined games and I'm staying away. I'm going to UNLV's pratice at 11:00 am local time. I will be working on Saturdays card after that, so we will be back in the game come tommorrow. Sorry guy's for the no-play, but this is how I keep my head above water. Been doing it this way for years, here's some information about tonight's line-up.
Butler @ Detroit, The home team is getting 6 points (las vegas hilton) , Detroit and Butler are tied for first in the Horizen league. Both at 3-1 conference, Detroit is the only team in the league with a 5 Star Recruit. The Head Coaches son Ray McCallum Jr. 6-1 point guard who was an Mcdonalds All-America and Parade All-America, this kid could've went any where in the country. Playing at home, huge game, the arena is a sell out (as I stated yesterday with Oregon at home, new arena) and Detroit is sick of losing to the Bulldogs, in my opinion Butler is playing OK right now and Detroit get blown out !
FairField @ Loyola-Maryland, Home team getting 6 (las vegas hilton). Last year Fairfield sweept Loy-Md and between both games 9 points was the difference. Fairfield lost it's first 3 games to start the season, but now there looking to win there 12th straight. As you guy's know by following me I'm a huge Fairfield homer, I've won with several times this year. In my opinion maybe the 6 points is a bit high. It's on national tv and the locals will be ready for this rivarly.
Rider @ Iona, this is a Pick game. Take Rider !
45-18 ats, good luck and on Saturday look for my first 3-play of the season !

1.11.2011 Tuesday CBB, "44-17 ats" It Can't Happen To Illinois !
Hi It's VR again, after taking a night off from college hoops it's great to have a full card for Tuesday. With coming off a nice little win with Auburn in the BCS Championship game lets keep it going.
Were heading to "Big Ten Country" Illinois @ Penn State, it's awful for Penn St that there schedule has them facing the Illi after a huge win VS. Michigan St.
Illinois which has opened the Big Ten Conference with 3 straight wins, I believe Illinois is playing there best basketball of the season right now. There one of the top teams in the country I believe.
The Illinois offense goes thru Demetri McCamey the senior point guard who's playing out-of his mind right now. McCamey is shooting 54% from 3, Illi is shooting 43% overall as a team from 3. There past 3 conference games has Illinois shooting 64.7% from the field and 63% from 3. Breaking down Penn States defense has me seeing a big win tonight for Illinois. The one glaring issue for PSU is there inability to defend the perimeter where opponents are knocking down 40% of their attempts ranking PSU 317 ont of 346 D1 teams. There overall team defense numbers are just bad, in my opinion Michigan State played really bad a few days ago to lose to this team.
As for Illinois, with all their seniors and there talent this is there year, The schedule is set-up perfect for them playing all the Big Boys at home, so road games like this they must take care of. The battle between McCamey and Penn States Talor Battle will be fun to watch, but the reason Illinois wins big on the road is McCameys supporting cast which is better, more consistent and there deeper.
Illinois 76-62
Illinois -4.5
Good luck to all, Wager with your head not over !

1.10.2011 Monday CBB, "44-17 ats"
Hi, It's VR again ! There's Three ugly lined games for today and in my opinion I believe it's best
NOT to have a play today. I will give you some of my leans for those who are interested, I know there's a few who always ask for them.
After a terrible lose yesterday, I guess on the past thread there's guy's posting there opinions about me and about college hoops. Which is great, thats why were all here.
Sports is a great thing, it takes us into another place where we don't have problems, we don't have to worry about paying bills, just the everyday garbage. Tonight there's a huge Football game where millions of people will be cheering for the team they love or the team they maybe placed a wager with. It's crazy because the game is being played in Glendale, Arizona.
In Arizona this past weekend there was a horrible, horrible shooting. A little nine year old baby life was taking away, how awful is that. All together 6 people had there lives taking away. Just awful. I'm writing this because living where I live this is a huge story, I guess it's big all over this country but in Southern Nevada it's big. It's very sad.
So there's no-play for Monday, Jan.10, tommorrow we start back up guy's. Good luck tonight and be safe !

1.9.2011 Sunday CBB, 44-16 ats " ACC Sunday Night Hoop's "
Hi all, hope alls well. It's VR again ! First off thank you very much all the kind words, points and for the support. There's a few games today but one really stands out to me. Duke @ Maryland, Duke is the favorite by 14.5 points, in my opinion if this wasn't a conference game the line would be around 20 or so.
But since this is a conference game, Maryland Co-Champs of the ACC last year in 2009-2010 the line isn't blown up and were going to jump on that.
Bottom line, Duke pressures the ball with Seven man rotation and stretch there opponents defense with deadly shooting. The tandem of point guard Nolan Smith and Forward Kyle Singler (my favorite CBB player) attack from all over the court and average almost 37 points per game.
Andre Dawkins 12 ppg who can go off for 30 VS any team in the country on any givin night.
An inside-out game, 6-11 starter Ryan Kelly, Brothers Mason and Miles average a combined 13 ppg. Since Nolan Smith has replaced injuried point guard Kyrie Irving, Nolan is avg. 26 ppg, shooting 63% from 3, and 61% overall.
At any point in tonights game Duke can light up Maryland on a 20-4 run, which Duke has done many times in 2010-11.
This is a totally different Maryland team that Duke placed last year, 80 ppg is there offensive out-put. Which is great, but Duke isn't Seattle, Maine, UNC-Greensboro, NJIT, UNF, and Colgate.
Thats there non-conference schedule, yes they have played one conference game a lost at home VS Boston College ! Maryland did play a couple of top 25 teams and lost to all of them. Pittsburgh, Illinois, Temple and BC.
Duke wins by 21 tonight !
Duke -14.5
44-16 ats

1.9.2011 Sunday CBB, 44-16 ats - Maryland / Duke Preview
Duke – MD
Duke takes on 10 and 4 MD in Cameron on Sunday January 9th. Maryland should provide Duke with a tough test. Even without Greivis Vasquez, Maryland has big capable guards in Sean Mosely a 6’4 junior, 6’2 senior Adrian Bowie and 6’4 senior Cliff Tucker. All are averaging at or around double figures but the true area of concern on this MD team is Jordan Williams, who is perhaps the best big man in the ACC. Williams averages 18 points and 12 rebounds a game and continues to step up in his sophomore campaign. Just like Dukes primary big man Mason Plumlee Williams is a poor free throw shooter which is the only knock in his game. Dukes 3-headed frontcourt will have to find a way to keep Williams uncomfortable in the lane while staying out of foul trouble.
Kyle Singler should be Dukes matchup advantage in this game and should be able to back down or shoot over smaller MD players or make taller defenders drift and cover him on the perimeter.
Duke will have to be successful from the outside to try to counter MD who will look to pound the ball inside.

1.8.2011 saturday CBB, 44-16 ats "Lucky or Not"
Hi all, it's VR again.
Syracuse -7 opened up our day, playing in Newark, NJ Syracuse started the game like they were still sleeping. 20 points in the 1st half, there lowest output all season and SHall scored 19 so the UNDER was alive ! Second half the jump shots started to fall for the Cuse, up 14 with 4 minutes to t he completion of the game Syracuse went to sleep again and SHall went on a 11-2 run. Final score 61-55
0-1 ats
Utah State -8 was our second play, VS an undermanned Nevada squad. With upmost respect for Nevada basketball program Utah St. was to win by 20 today but of-course it never goes as planned. Down 10, Utah St. hit the switch and before we knew it UTST wins by 14.
1-1 ats
So an ugly of a start of the day, turns into a 1-1 ats.

Hey good morning to all. It's VR again ! It's very early right now but hey you do whats got to be done, Right?
Great night last nite 2-0 ats, if we can keep the losing streaks to a day and the winning streaks as we have. Big money can be made. Checking my records I don't believe I've lost two straight this college basketball games all season.
Time is limited today, write up is avaiable upon request,

1.7.2011 Friday CBB, 41-15 ats "
Hi all, It's VR again ! Few days back I said I no-play for Friday but even though there's a very small card in my opinion there's a gift "LVSC" left us to jump on. After getting crushed last night with Arizona State who played like garbage, I feel we got it tonight. 9 game wining streak, hottest team in the MAAC, 4 returning starters, with bench plays there's 8 players who played 8 minutes or more.
Fairfield -12 @ Marist, The RedFoxes are awful (3-12). Last year Marist was 1-29. Marist coming into this game has 141 assists / 229 turnovers, thats huge. Last year Fairfield average margin of victory over Marist was 14, I know this is a new year which is in Fairfield's favor even more. Marist has ZERO players scoring in Double Digits. This is the year in Southern Connecticut where Fairfield makes the dance ! 55 points per game thats what Fairfield is giving up, which ranks them #7 in the nation. Fairfield is a very good basketball team, Derek Needham is active and can score from most any-where on the court.
Fairfield -12
41-15 ats
Good luck guy's, we need it !

1.6.2011 Thursday CBB, 41-14 ats "Were Heading To The Dessert"
Hi Guy's, Hope all's good. It's VR again. Just a recap, in my opinion Dayton did just we figured. Like one of you guy's wrote after the completion of the game, NEVER IN DOUBT ! Thats an awsome feeling.
As I wrote I went ot the UNLV, "WOW" that was ugly. I'm thankful I never placed a wager on that, BYU played great. Not only shooting the ball but defensively they took the Rebels right out of there offense, when the game started I never heard the "Thomas&Mack Center as loud. Two minutes into the 2nd half the peoples were running for the Exit signs.
Ok enough, on to Thursday were heading to the PAC-10. Stanford @ Arizona State.
Stanford is pretty good, they have some decent talent. Very young, very talented, very good recruiting class this year and coming in. But on the road this is a diiferent basketball team. There 0-2 in conference on the road, they shoot horrible on the road and they turn the ball over something crazy. Hopefully Arizona State takes full advantage of this. ASU guard Trent Lockett hasn't played in the past conference games because of an ankle injury but tonite he's not starting but is coming in off the bench, Trent is the straw that mixes the drink !
Arizona State -5
41-14 ats
Just one play tonight guy's, in my opinion todays card just isn't pretty at all. Also there's NO-PLAY for Friday. Saturday hopefully there's two.
Good luck tonight to all.

1.5.2011 Wednesday CBB, 40-14 ats "A-10 Hoop's" !
Hi guy's, hope all's good. It's VR again ! After taking a night off and watching 6 college basketball games, I'm looking forward to tonight. Place one wager and I'm going to "The Thomas & Mack Center" to see BYU and UNLV. It should be a great game, for those who want a second wager I broke this game down and I do believe I've got the winner.
On to tonight, Dayton @ St.Louis. After watching games of both these teams today, in my opinion this wager is a no-brainer ! Dayton is playing great right now and St.Louis is playing awful, to make thing's worst for STL there two best players are out and will not play. The Billikens have been rocked by the suspensions of Kwanain Mitchell and Willie Reed, for those who don't know there being charged with "Alleged" Sexual Assault. Now the entire team is paying for this and there having an awful season to this point. Dayton is riding a Five game winning streak, STL is in the middle of a Three game losing streak.
STL is a defensive minded squad, they have to be because they can't score. Not One Player is avg. Double Figures. There last gameVS lonely Bowling Green, St.Louis shot 37%. Dayton shots 40% from 3. St. Louis has been getting killed on the boards, for the season the avg. minus-4.5, Dayton size is a huge problen for STL. On paper the difference between the two teams rebounding 41 to 27 Dayton. That should add up to some points for us ! Big Time !
Dayton is 7-2 ats, St.Louis is 1-8 ats.
I could go on, and on, all day with these stats, bottom line Dayton has huge advantage. They must get it done, huge conference gasme for them.
Dayton +2
If I didn't lose the other night and if I was on a winning streak, I would also play the Money Line. I'm not because of the last wager.
Guy's I'm going to be on for just a bit longer because as I said I'm going to the UNLV game.
Good luck tonight and lets get this rolling again.

1.4.2011 CBB, "Tale Of Unbeatens"
Duke (13-0)
Impressive victories: Kansas State, 82-68; Michigan State, 84-79; Butler, 82-70.
Comment: The Blue Devils are a better team than last year when they won the national championship. They are more balanced and have more depth. That has shown even more as Duke has rolled along undefeated even after freshman sensation Kyrie Irving was injured. The ACC isn’t as strong as usual. Duke will be challenged, but it’s possible the Blue Devils will remain undefeated deep into the season. A poor shooting night on the road could spell trouble for Coach K’s team. Somebody will catch them. But who?
Projected first loss: Feb 2 @ Maryland
San Diego State (15-0)
Impressive victories: Gonzaga, 79-76; Wichita State 83-69; Cal 77-57.
Comment: Steve Fisher’s team isn’t a huge surprise. There were questions about depth, but not talent. The biggest problem for the Aztecs is timing because the Mountain West is so impressive this season, with BYU, UNLV, New Mexico and Colorado State off to very good starts. There will be nightly dogfights in this conference and multiple bids to the NCAA tournament. The Aztecs are good but they can’t escape the Mountain West undefeated.
Projected first loss: Jan. 26 at BYU
UCF (13-0)
Impressive victories: Florida, 57-54; Miami 84-78
Comment: When you think of Conference-USA, you obviously think of Memphis. But it UCF that is crawling into the national consciousness — and the rankings — with some surprising victories and a kid named M. Jordan. That’s Marcus. (Former) Memphis Commercial-Appeal columnist Dan Wolken tweeted earlier this month that “if UCF ends up 9-7 in the league I won’t be surprised. That’s not a great roster.” We will see, won’t we?
Projected first loss: Jan. 15 at Southern Miss.
Syracuse (15-0)
Impressive victories: Michigan State, 72-58; Drexel, 93-65; Notre Dame, 70-58
Comment: The Orange has taken care of business, despite the fact coach Jim Boeheim still isn’t pleased with the offensive execution of his players. Syracuse always plays tough defense and Big East teams have to adjust to Boeheim’s zone philosophy. That’s never easy. Kris Joseph and Rick Jackson are the steady performers here. When Boeheim’s freshmen start picking up their offensive production, Syracuse could become a dominant squad in the Big East. This could be a very dangerous team come March.
Projected first loss: Jan. 17 at Pittsburgh.
Kansas (13-0)
Impressive victories: Arizona, 87-79; UCLA, 77-76; Memphis, 81-68.
Comment: Coach Bill Self says Josh Selby is ready to start. That must have been a tough decision. The Jayhawks will be a better team with the skilled freshman on the floor. He can play with the ball in his hands or off the ball and that makes the KU backcourt very dangerous. Marcus Morris has to play smart and be a better leader. He didn’t do that at Cal, but the Jayhawks still pulled away and won on the road. The key to the Jayhawks is their continued unselfish play. Kansas doesn’t start Big 12 play until Jan. 12, but the Jayhawks are the best team in their conference again.
Projected first loss: Jan. 17 at Baylor.
Cincinnati (14-0)
Impressive victories: Dayton, 68-34; Oklahoma, 66-56.
Comment: It’s a stretch to say those two wins were impressive. Dayton is 10-3 and the Bearcats won big. Oklahoma is a big-time program from the Big 12, but the Sooners (6-6) are way, way down this season. The truth is the Bearcats have played one of the worst schedules in the country. Give Cincinnati credit for taking care of business and remaining undefeated to this point. But the chili won’t stay hot for the Bearcats much longer.
Projected first loss: Jan. 6 vs. Xavier. (If not then, certainly Jan 9 at Villanova).
Ohio State (14-0)
Impressive victories: Florida, 93-75; Florida State, 58-44, Oakland, 92-63.
Comment: Jared Sullinger has taken the Buckeyes to another level. As long as Sullinger and David Lighty stay healthy, Ohio State will be the team to beat in the Big Ten. Not many thought that would be the case when the season started, but the Buckeyes have been solid and Michigan State has struggled — against a tougher schedule. Tom Izzo’s team cannot be written off and the Big Ten remains strong. But Ohio State looks like a Final Four team right now.
Projected first loss: Jan. 22 at Illinois.
Impressive victories: Kansas State, 82-68; Michigan State, 84-79; Butler, 82-70.

1.3.2011 Monday CBB, 40-13 ats "RAMS @ GATORS"
Hi everyone, it's VR again ! It's Monday start of a new week, and I've got the perfect match-up to keep this thing rolling ! Looking back for a minute, hitting over 75% winners is nice. Just in case you forgot here are some pretty nice numbers,
40-13 ats overall,
22-3 ats last 25 wagers
8-0 ats last week
But in this business, it's what have you done today ! So here we go,
Rhode Island at Florida, the line is around 11.
Rhode Island +11 will be my play. In my opinion this URI team shoud and will give the Gators fits in the paint. The Rams are very long, and very Athletic. Rhode Islands Delroy James is preseason player of the year for the A-10, if this kid played for a BCS School all college basketball fans would know this kids name. He will be the BEST player on the court tonight ! URI was an Double-Digit underdog just once this season, Nov. 10th @ Pittsburgh. Rhode Island lost the game but covered the spread, your's truely cashed a ticket that night.
Rhode Island has four players scoring in Double Digits nightly, and with the Gators sputtering offense most of the time I feel Rhode Island will put the heat on Florida.
Also the Gators Center Vernon Macklin injured his shoulder this past saturday at Xavier, he missed the entire 2nd half and him starting and getting minutes is up in the air !
Rhode Island +11
Good luck tonight !

1.2.2011 Sunday CBB, 39-13 ats " BIG TEN BATTLE"
Hi guy's it VR again. Hope alls well. It's sunday and I'd love to close out this great week ( 6-0 ats ) with a chance of a winner. Were like 21-3 ats last 24 wager's, hard work / love of the game is my formula.
Today, Sunday has some nice valued games in my opinion.
Before we get into the pick, I'd would like to mention that at 7:45 pm est Miami,Fl. is playing Duke at Camron Indoor Stadium and the game is being shown nationally on FOX SPORTS NETWORK. Tim Brando and "The G-man Mike Gemeski are your broadcasters, if you able to view the contest that would be great. Ratings, Ratings and Ratings ! They need them.
Ok, I really like Illinoins at home today VS Wisconsin. The point spread is in our favor -2 at the time of this writing with the Las Vegas Hilton. I'm placing a wager with Wisconsin minus the two points. Offensively Illinois has a huge edge, 77.2 ppg, there last three games there average is 87 ppg. 42% from 3 leads the Big Ten, in there last game at one point they 7 straight. In my opinion no-one on Wisconsin roster can cover, guard Demetri McCamey ( Illinois guard ) he's scoring 17 a game, 10 assists, he's just warming up.
Illinois being the home team is a giant edge, also for me breaking down games. The "Eye-Ball-Test", I just finished watching game film from both teams, Illinois playing at home and Wisconsin on the road. I'm not going to say Illinois is so much better, but Illinois is alot better at home than Wisconsin is on the road, if that makes sence. So Illinois is my play at -2, also Illinois -130 ( money line ) is also great. -130 isn't much juice for an 11-3 team at home, thats how you must look at that number, not just the -130.
Illinois -2
Illinois -130
Good luck guy's, just one play today. Monday, tommorrow huge play coming with Georgetown vs. St. Johns at Madison Square Garden. The Johnnies are playing great.

1.1.2011 Saturday, HAPPY NEW YEAR ! 37-13 ats SHOCKERS @ Braves
Happy New Year To All ! Hi it's VR again. Hope all had a safe and fun New Years Eve. There's 22 lined games for New Years Day, but in my opinion there's just a few that stand out to me. Once Monday arrives and the holidays are just a memory we will be knee deep in some great action. Yesterday was another great day with a victory, like I said once we get into next week I'll be playing 1-2 per day when it's possible.
Just a quick note, the West Virginia / Marquette 11:00 am est start was a play for me and it was posted at my blog. I finished capping very close to tip, so I didn't post it at the Forums. I'm glad some of you e-mailed me and got the play in for a nice early start of the day WINNER !
37-13 ats, things are going very nice as of now. I'm very happy alot of you are also winning, it's to bad we all speak on this computer and not in person. I speak to alot of you one on one and there's some great people on this site. After I complete posting, around 11:00 am PT I'm heading to my "SPOT" the Las Vegas Hilton and I'll be in the Sportsbook all day. There's a party there food, drink and watching sports on there 50 Giant tv's College Hoop's. I'll bet money I'm the only one watching hoops and the rest will be watching all the College Bowl games. Which I love, but Hoop's is my thing. I've got just one more play for today and it's a later tip. Also for those who don't know, many of you do. Sunday ACC college Hoops on Fox Sport Network is my favorite day of the week, tommorrow there's a TRIPLE-HEADER so we will be involved with that. The triple-header is as follows LSU @ UVA, MIAMI,FL. @ DUKE ( For those who heard of Tim Brando he's on CBS College Football Pregame, he will be calling the Duke, Miami game ) He is a very close friend of mine, I never, ever miss one of his games. He also has a Radio Show on Sporting News Radio and in the past during College Basketball Season I've done time slots. for those interested "PM" me and I can give info ! The final game of the triple-header is Arizona @ Oregon State. Have a great day guy's !
